very annoying blue light- but easily covered w/ some duct tape and black marker3). anytime you turn them off, when you turn them back on you have to manually "up" the volume on2). a little on the larger side.BUT I just love them, especially for the price it's really easy to ignore those cons. Totally impressed on how easy it was to hook these up to my LCD TV and make an instant surround sound system. A few cons about them:1).
And at the asking price, a bargain. They even work through a floor (I plug the transmitter into my PC upstairs and can listen to audio in my bedroom downstairs). They work. They're simple to install.
I have wi-fi and 5.8GHZ phones at home. You cannot turn on the speakers with the remote. Random beeping and interferences - every few minutes while playing music, one of the speakers (randomly) will beep.
I even went through the hassle to get an exchange from the manufacturer, but the new ones beeps just as often.2. I mean, how stupid is that.I wish I had waited on buying these. As many reviewers point out, the remote is poorly designed and thought out.
There are two main gripes about these speakers -1. But come on, everyone has these nowadays. Maybe I will sell them on Craigslist and recoop some money.
Sometimes, you can hear some serious interferences. Not sure if they are the culprit.
Speakers do work well off a computer and can be heard in all rooms.however, feel that the maximum volume output is not sufficent.Probably would not purchase the same speakers again.
These speakers have allowed me to put my old system in storage and enjoy all the music that I have stored on my computer in which ever room(s) I choose. The set up was easy and I have no trouble with the concrete walls impeding the signal. I moved into a high rise condo from a rather large home. I added an additional speaker and found a configuration that allows the music to be heard through out the condo in such a manner that you would think you were listening to stereo. The bright blue light on the speakers was a minor annoyance that I corrected by a small piece of masking tape and black magic marker. My Infinity tower speakers (4) were no longer usable because of size. I needed something that was versatile and appropriate for my current square footage and lifestyle.
